My proposal for the “Thesholds maze Contemporary Museum of Art” is an open and welcoming design that erases the barrier of exclusivity normally surrounding the world of art, patrons, and experts.
The “Thresholds maze” is a hybrid building which acts as transitional stepping stone from the Oldham Road to the the other side of the railway structure. The masterplan includes 13 ateliers and the Contemporary Museum of Art , placed in a big cutaway through the existing structure of the old railway.
