Georgia Smith
My designs are all about capturing different exciting or interesting elements that I find and capture on my visits be this a object, a landscape, or just a sense of a place. I take a lot of inspiration from many contemporary artists using abstract or geometric shapes. Photography is my initial starting point that fuels almost all of my drawing and then design works and colour and geometrical shapes are really important to me and a strong element in my collections. I have created a varying collection of exciting curtain and blinds as well as co-ordinates for throws, cushions, large floor cushion aim to add colour and brighten an interior space. Working mainly in Photoshop and Illustrator I like to use both digital and screen printing to add another dimension and quality.

Blue Graph Lines - a really exciting design, using bold colours inspired from statistics and movement.
Fading Abstract - This design is also specifically designed for large curtains or panel blinds, although could be adapted to suit other contexts. This design again uses abstract and geometric shapes which has been a key aspect in my designs.
Paris - one of my later set of designs, also has two co-ordinates that go with it, simple triangle patterns. The design is a exciting use of photography, colour and geometric shapes.
A co-ordinating design
London Abstract - this is a really bright abstract design. the colours are inspired from photographs taken in London. The design is a half drop repeat and a co-ordinate for other designs although could be used as an all over for anything.
Graphical Blackpool - This design is a one off specifically designed for tall curtains or panelled blinds. The colours are inspired by the seaside town of Blackpool and i feel the mix of shape, colour and photography is strong.
