I'm guessing most non-designers/students don't realize the amount of work it takes to develope, sketch and visualise the ideas. It can take up to weeks for me before the initial idea is transformed to a more promising scheme.
I am fascinated by high-tech design and hence my approach to engaging modernism and structural expressionism. For instance, installing a 5000x6000 waterfall wall in a wedding house for my final project.
Personally, I spend a lot of time researching at early stage of a design project and thorughout the process, I enjoy comitting most of the time to visualise my ideas into perspective drawings using Sketch Up and Photoshop, as I believe images itself speak better.
