Brought up in the rural Derbyshire hills, I have always enjoyed going out taking photos, drawing and just generally taking it all in. This part of my life has definitely affected the way I work, meaning I appreciate tiny finishing touches, and sweeter, quainter, more illustrative designs. Although my design work is not always illustrative, I like to keep a light hearted, playful theme running throughout my work, where possible.
