As a filmmaker I consider human relationships as the most interesting subject to explore. I am trying to be a good listener and observer because I think that in every story told there is a film to develop. "It's My Party" was inspired by my friend's story and it's been developed throughout the long research period.
I was always a filmmaker before I was anything else. If I was always anything, I was a storyteller, and it never really made much of a difference to me what medium I worked in.

I like thinking about myself as a storyteller. First you need to have a story to tell, than you can make a film.
