BA (Hons) Three Dimensional Design

Katherine Lees

I am a crafts maker responding to the narrative surrounding our relationship with objects, I have become especially interested in Victorian amulets and the superstition they embody. My practice focuses on creating small-scale handmade porcelain vessels and wearable ceramic charms. Through the inclusion of textile and precious metals in my work, I have designed a range of distinctive objects to sell in high-end galleries and craft shops.
