Digital print designer for women’s wear
I work digitally to create print designs for women’s wear, my design process begins with drawing which I then use Photoshop/Illustrator to edit and create designs. My form of design work is produced using a mix of digital and analogue processes to demonstrate my print designs, illustrations and fabric samples.
Colour drives me to become creative within my work, my grasp for colour, shape and pattern are the three points I am visually drawn to which makes my practice unique, it is important to me as a designer to focus on the combination of pattern and composition, making sure that all factors work together in tandem.
Designing for both market levels enables me to use different techniques within colour and pattern using machine sewing skills, drawing techniques, printing and CAD based skills using Photoshop and Illustrator.
