'You can’t do better design with a computer, but you can speed up your work enormously.'
Hand drawn/made design is what really inspires me as a designer. I am a perfectionist, however I have a real passion for experimenting and getting my hands dirty, coming from a fine art background. Design starts when your pen touches the paper. My sketchbook is the most reliable tool I own, generating ideas and concepts to help produce exciting and unique designs. I have recently been involved in an intership with OWT creative, publishing a collaborative fanzine called 'Bound'.

'Theme' - interpretation of the word 'BANG!' capturing facial expressions when an unexpected 'bang' occurred and using the images to create a series of flip-books.
'It Happened On This Day' - using a personal story featured in local newspapers, I created a new style of reading in the form of a fanzine using experimentation with typography to help produce layouts and spreads.
'Poster Design' - an experimental response to designing posters, flyers and a look-book to help promote the The Manchester Dance Company’s annual Avant Garde street production.
