Grimsby
Duration: 10:41
DIRECTED by Steven Webb
The small fishing town of Grimsby is an enigma. Tucked away in the North-East of Lincolnshire, it was once a successful and thriving seaside town. Now it has become a rapidly deteriorating society. ‘Grimsby’ explores the downward spiral that has taken the town and its youth into a life of drugs, violence and crime and driven the towns-people into fear and loathing. This film looks at the people who live in the town and aims to discover the thoughts and feelings surrounding this once prosperous community – discovering the past and the heritage of Grimsby’s fishing docks and delving into the future of a broken society and seemingly lost generation.
