BA (Hons) Illustration with Animation

Amy Millar

My work illustrates Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman's collaborative work, Good Omens, in an energetic and unconventional manner. My largest painting is a homage to Michelangelo's 'The Last Judgement.' In my vision of the final chapter of this book, the hosts of Heaven are as hell-bent as their demonic foes when it comes to the Apocalypse and both sides look furiously down at a scene unfolding on Earth. Here the Antichrist, a rogue angel, a demon, a witchfinder, three children and one hellhound (disguised as a loveable dog) are acting together to ensure that nothing goes according to The Divine Plan.
