BA (Hons) Three Dimensional Design

Catrin Griffiths

Originating from the heart of rural Wales, my work reflects traditions and skills passed on through generations.  As a Designer Maker I want to promote these traditional skills whilst combining them with contemporary technology; bringing timeless qualities to the focus of modern living.  Working alongside local craftsmen and manufacturers, I hope to ensure the longevity of these skills.

With material and process awareness spanning glass, metal, wood, plastics, ceramic and digital processes such as 3D printing and laser cutting, my work strives to engage the user with a functional and useful object made from fine quality materials.
