BA (Hons) Fine Art

Poppy Lee

Interested in the aesthetic and sensory boundaries of materials, my practice is a continuous process of discovery and experimentation. By creating conundrums with materials and objects, I wrestle with their identities to exploit their existence as new forms surrounded by the everyday. Through the process of cause and effect, it has become a transformation of original functions into singular counterpoints through visible juxtapositions. Always finding objects that still try to claim their identities under my deconstruction, my work has become spontaneous and unexpected, leaving the outcome to unfold visibly within the space.
