My practice is informed and driven by art psychotherapy. My work is aimed at children in Key stage 2 with special educational needs. Each puzzle has been tailored made to facilitate the varied and complex requirements of children with special needs. The puzzles are aimed at four different forms of special needs; autism, visually impaired, behaviour and physical/ mobility. They are designed to be interacted with in an educational environment.
Alongside the puzzles I have written a book that is aimed at professionals in primary education on how to facilitate the diverse needs of children with special educational needs through the adaptation of the environment, interaction, material and process.
