My practice manifests itself through the disruption of visual culture.
Social media is generating an infinite stream of opportunity to project oneself into the public domain. My work responds to extroversion as trend, pushing privacy across the threshold through excess and distortion.
Within my practice, notions of the self are explored. How we identify others and ourselves is changing in response to the increasing role of technology. My work represents these unremitting shifts between the digital and physical worlds.
Using the body as medium, I seek to manipulate its characteristics through an array of digital experimental platforms. The presence of spectatorship is heavily investigated through the camera as a tool of intrusion.
I am both the watcher and the watched.
