When I send a message to a friend I want to tell or share something with them. But, there is another system at work collecting messages as data. The message I send loses its original meaning as it becomes a reference in a system of data concerned with commodity and value.
Through the constant questioning of everyday practices, such as online communication, I begin to reveal the hidden layers. By using message boards to generate communication as a material, I can start to examine the rhythms of data.
I am all ways trying to say something, but on my own terms.
