Greengate Brewery aims to help the regeneration of the site by bridging the economy as well as the social aspect. The scheme used the bottom-up approach, which included the local residents, pubs and community in the design process to encourage the engagement with local population. This method allows people to interact, and having two ways communication with one another that generate a more creative community. Hence, the brewery with strong local beer community will introduce new ways for the consumers to engage with craft beer and its making.

The brewery hopes to find synergies that will begin to remake the site into an industrially relevant, environmental friendly, and social engaging place. A place that welcomes and inspires community engagement contains locally supported system which weaves together with the beer brewing industry.
