Every day we are in some way surrounded by digitalisation. This consumes so much of our lives without our realisation Digital comforts is the space where the seniors are at the heart of the design. This well thought out space does not let anyone feel alone, vulnerable or less able. Older people have the right to be treated with dignity and respect and to be free to live a life that has meaning and purpose. We are the community interacting with the virtual and the real world. We allow our seniors individual use of digital objects, help with socialising skills as well as entering the world of many other possibilities. In doing so this allows a sense of reassurance to issues that are never really solved as they are often avoided. The space is used as an interactive museum which eradicate any negative or patronising feelings. This project aims to re-open the doors to modern technology by finding the connection between the occupant and the concept of the space.
