Joseph Kelly

Master of Architecture

Having studied the Intimate Cities atelier as part of the MArch course for the past two years, I have begun to form a strong understanding of the problem of rapacious capitalism within our modern day cities. Through the use of urban analysis and social investigations I have been able to explore the ideas of temporality and usability within a rigid and often uninventive urban grid.

The Intimate Cities atelier has inspired an active and user inspired approach to design which is something I think should be more apparent within the architectural profession.
