BA (Hons)

My interest in death and absence arose from witnessing them. The air in the space where someone has lived and died in takes on a thick heavy feeling that I find so perplexingly bizarre. I made this work in the effort it would explain some part of absence to me, only to find it even more ridiculous. My use of moving image as my chosen way of documenting absence is an to attempt to underpin the untangible nature of absence, and it's likeness to time passing- you cannot see it, only stand and stare through it.
