Both places and people have identities which in many cases are ambiguous. It is this lack of certainty which fascinates me. I am particularly interested in the things which lie hidden beneath the surface and which can be glimpsed from time to time.
My most recent work explores the relationship between the mind and the body and attempts to make visible parts of the identity which we might wish to remain hidden.
For the degree show I have chosen to show 'Fix You' , a series of monotype prints made from etched steel which deal with issues of collective identity.
