Textiles in Practice
BA(Hons)

I have always found myself inspired by naturally occurring forms. With this in mind, I have settled on the subject matter of lichens, fungi, bark, crystals, reptile skin and moss for my inspiration. I found the naturally occurring, undulating shapes found in my research visually interesting and I have created a collection to represent these forms through the creation of a raised surface using various processes such as embellishment, puff binder and tufting.
