Textiles in Practice

Taking my inspiration from florals, I use the freeness and unpredictability of painterly mark making to create unique and exciting drawing research that informs my design development. Specialising in printed textiles, my final design collection has been produced for an interior context, suitable for a range of home ware products.

I have been able to expand my practice to produce a number of digitally printed textile design collections that explore scale, composition and colour.

My aspiration after graduation is to work as a freelance textile designerwith the future intention to go into teaching at college level.
