My practice is centred on the idea of how we see images in modern society. As we have moved into the digital age I think we have become more reliant on mediated images rather than experiencing them first hand.

Using a manipulated image of a test card pattern is a reminder of the culture we experience now with the advance of modern technology; it edits, manipulates and replicates information. The test card used to appear on the screen when there were no programmes showing, whereas now there is no need for it, as technology has rapidly developed and there is a constant stream of different channels. We are bombarded with information in an endless circulation, accumulation and production of images.
