I can never stick to one dicipline. I like to use lots of different processes to create something which moves. Over the duration of the course I have developed a passion for stop motion and puppet making picking up many crafting techniques along the way.
I like to think my work is a contemporary take on a method of animating usually associated with 70's childrens Tv. I consider bright colours, cinematography and relevant narratives to bring it into today. I incorporate hand drawn elements and photography to give my characters a realistic and uncanny edge.
A lot of my inspiration comes from folklore and nature. I salvage natural materials when I am out walking and that has always been a personal interest of mine.
