Amber Clark

Inspired and influenced by the historic and modern architecture found in the cities of Manchester and New York.  I have utilised my own photography to capture these bold blocks and grid structures and used the medium of photoshop to further develop these qualities into potential design ideas for woven fabrics. 

I have a very good understanding of woven structure and have developed this into several collections of woven fabrics suitable mainly for the interior market. I enjoy using bold, contrasting colours to create fabrics that reflect the drama and atmosphere of my initial visual starting points.

Keen to further develop my knowledge of weaving my future intention is to secure a role within the textiles industry.
