Anita Kwiecien

Anita is a BA (Hons) Photography graduate. Her work explores the themes of home, distorted belonging and human emotion. Drawing on her personal experience, she investigates how we continuously adjust to our surroundings and the effects that has on our self-perception. In this project, each image conveys a specific story or emotion, collectively showing the process of searching for answers about one’s own identity and coming to terms with its complexities. By taking away the colour, Anita invites the viewer to look at the content of the image and decipher the narrative behind it.
