The Ski Season

I am a Textile Designer specialising in knitted fabrics for high end fashion. Taking a mixed media approach to my practice, I combine processes and materials both on and off the machine. With a sensitive handle for colour and composition I create informed and contemporary fabrics.

The Holiday has been the overarching concept inspiring my practice this year, exploring the many forms and quirks of holidays. The Ski Season takes inspiration from the glamorous connotations of a skiing holiday in the 1980’s, to inform a sophisticated A/W collection of knitted fabrics for fashion womenswear. In the future, I hope to go on to complete an MA in Knitted Textiles, ultimately aspiring to work in trend, sampling for fashion or in knitwear design.
