A collection of objects designed, made and repurposed for interaction.

Our relationship with materials is gained through an active involvement with them – by playfully combining colour, texture and form I encourage the audience in the creation of objects with an aim to promote a more active engagement beyond the work itself.

Through the use of familiar objects and materials, I encourage audiences to interact and play with materials available – the ‘materials’ I present draw upon childhood memories of tying shoelaces, threading beads and creating chains. Colour is an activating element within my work – colours are remnant from childhood experiences, using bright solid colours I aim to encourage participation across generations to increase accessibility.
