Emily Harding

Emily Harding is a printmaker, whose work investigates man’s relationship with nature primarily utilising traditional etching techniques. Growing up around rural landscapes inspired Emily to document these experiences and to experiment with various materials, predominantly etching into metals such as zinc and copper. Investigating nature and exploring landscapes is a large part of her work, it allows her to gain a personal connection to the subject and that ultimately influences her work. Careful consideration at each stage is an integral part of the process, it allows her to take risks with imaginative skills while having a high quality of making.
