Haseena Ali

The source of inspiration for my 'Saqoon' project which is displayed at the show, is my Kashmiri culture. As a graphic designer I apply that to my design and how I find my influences. Saqoon has a lot of hidden messages right through to the taste of the teas. It is a celebratory brand towards my heritage and is targetted toward tea drinkers to give them an experience of tea from its roots. The colours of the packaging where inspired by the traditional bright colours of the tea packaging sourced in the villages and I want to bring that element to the west and diversify the shelves and homes of England. I want to continue designing in areas that explore different cultures as well as developing my own design skills alongside it.
