Inês Marques Mano Ivo Peres

My name is Inês Peres and I aim to show the multitude of life through my drawings. 

My interests lie mainly in pre-production as I enjoy doing concept designs, storyboards and producing.

I've lived in my home town Santa Cruz, Portugal until the age of 5 which was when I migrated to Frankfurt am Main, Germany until residing in the United Kingdom since 2015. Through these travels, I have gained many invaluable and varied experiences all of which have helped shape my artistic identity.

A lot of my work focuses on characters and trying to re-create the human presence I grew up with. A good example of this would be my final year film "The Keeper of Thoughts" which is about the 20th century Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa and his works. 

Languages, history and cultures are my passions and my drive is to depict these through the works I am doing and will do.
