Three Dimensional Design

As a designer maker my practice is centred around material and process experimentation. This has enabled me to build an understanding of the properties and limitations of many materials and processes, which in turn allows me to innovate and experiment

while designing and making.

Investigation of the relationship between digital and analogue production processes has become a key aspect of my practice, most recently developing ‘Poly Vase’ a mould blown glass vase developed from scans of a thrown ceramic vessel. This project was developed from ‘Forced Form Vases’ a series of hand blown vases made from a welded steel mould,

An exploration of the lamination process saw me develop a bespoke jig, which was used in collaboration with Elen Parry to develop a range of bespoke pendant lights.
