Max Wilson

The Candle Lamp is based off the archetype of an old candle-light holder that is intended to recall a past memory of the user. This creates a connection between user and object which hopefully makes the lamp more enjoyable to use. Candle is made from solid German Beech and spun on the lathe.

The Surface side table was designed as part of a furniutre range that the lamp would also be a part of. There was a focus placed on material and form in order to be engaging with the user and also to create a visual language between the two objects. Surface is made from solid German Beech and milled on the CNC.
