The Museum of the Suburb will be a space situated on the outskirts of the city. It will strive to educate people all about what the suburbs set out to achieve and what they stand for in today’s society.  With their popularity declining and 43.6% of the UK now living in urban areas, the project will aim to achieve a resurgence in the area, providing people with an informative and insightful perspective of what the suburbs can offer. 

The museum will achieve this by exhibiting works of art by suburban artists and informative history in an interactive gallery. With research areas providing archives on the local history and suburban areas in general to further educate. Both of these alongside an immersive film experience aiming to bring together people from urban and suburban areas.
