My degree show piece, 'And the soil and the meat' is a combination of old eroded and burnt slide photos, and slides I created on Photoshop made up of a poem I wrote and photos I took of China dolls. It is a piece that explores my experiences growing up as part of a church with problematic values, and how I am dealing with it now as a woman.
