The Brief: ‘A SPACE THAT STITCHES TOGETHER APPAREL AND MANUFACTURING WITH A MODERN AND TRANSPARENT FEEL, WITH SUSTAINABILITY BEING AT THE HEART OF THE BRAND’.

Being enthusiastic about sustainability it seemed natural for me to base my final project around the notion. I wanted to create a place that helped consumers to boycott the fast fashion industry. A place that created sustainable clothing at a reasonable price. Having sourced materials from either donations or local communities, garments would all be made and sold under one roof. Having voids throughout the building allowing the consumer to see every aspect of the design and making of the garments. Bringing a transparent ethos to the brand.

As a designer, I am interested in the relationship between people and their surroundings, especially within the retail environment.
