Vincent Python

I create figurative paintings with the intention of revealing the beauty of strangeness using color. I aim to blend reality and fiction by contrasting linear and painterly ways of painting and keeping abstract elements as well as a strong likeness. My use and interest in defamiliarization derives from my enthusiasm in magic realism. The aesthetic qualities in sports and nature influence my choice of color and composition as well as being recurrent subjects in my work.
