I am a concept led designer, meaning I think a great idea is important. I am good at expressing things through type. I don’t enjoy being pretentious. I love print. You could say I am outspoken. Working around other creatives is important to me, I value opinions. I don’t have a particular design ‘style’ I adapt.

I created two Zines based on the theme of Victory. One based on a personal experience of Victory and one based on an experience of the 'Low' that follows. I wrapped the zines in a poster which is loud and exciting from the outside, creating suspense like the build up to winning. The inside poster explains the damaging effect of winning.

This is a personal project based on expressing what it feels like to have an attack of Supra Ventricular Tachycardia. (An abnormality of the heart rhythm.) I wanted to express the feeling visually to someone who doesn't know what it feels like. I found this a challenging brief but really enjoyed it. The concept is a concertina book, with different sized/thickness pages to represent the rapid heart rate and irregular breathing. The book tells the story of an attack using Letterpress, as Letterpress can also be quite temperamental. From above the book looks like an ECG and shows the change in rhythm.
