Flora Prince

My work explores the modern-day culture of consumption and excess, referencing both the desire for self-perfection, and the continuous cycle of consumerism and instant gratification. I consider my work to be pieces of wearable art, combining traditional embroidery techniques and hand knit with found materials to create one-off masks. 

After graduation I am interested in playing with a range of contexts for my work and am excited by the potential of collaborating with fashion designers, photographers, theatre artists and choreographers to extend the scope of my work.
