Romilly Tucker

I am a textiles designer primarily focused in embroidery and print working for an interiors context. A fascination with colour has been the core inspiration behind my work this year. My work is striking, bold, and always starts with painting.   Using unconventional tools and a free approach, my aim is to create interesting marks and mixes of colour on the paper. Using a combination of print and embroidery techniques, I translate my paintings into cloth. The objective is to capture the essence of my paintings in a fun and visually exciting way. 

Post-graduation my intentions are to continue with my practice.  Aiming to work in the textiles industry where I will bring my strong identity and style into an interiors context.
