Amy Harris

I am a designer who creates vibrant textiles and collages. Colour and shape are important aspects of my practice and define my style of work. I create one-off pieces for interior walls and hope to evoke a joyful response from my audience.

‘Into the Jungle’ is a playful response from a trip to the zoo. The shapes used in my work are informed by initial drawings. I translated my early paper collages into fabric to achieve a large quilted piece. I intend to further explore the concept of large wall pieces and aspire to design contemporary interior pieces in the future.
