Architecture BA

My focus in the Infrastructure Space atelier this year has been on large-scale urban interventions, designed to negate architectural and technological obsolescence and promote social mobility. I have designed a transport hub and a structural framework, both based on the same theoretical grid system, to create a cohesive design spanning the entire site. Basing my design on this theoretical grid, composed of superimposed historical and fictional narratives, allows for both unique forms extruded three-dimensionally from the two-dimensional grid, and a modular expansion across Euclidean space.
