My project playful perception is all about how we interpret our city and surroundings in unique ways, displaying creative practice in an urban setting including architecture itself and artistic murals as seen in Manchester northern quarter. I intended to use a lot of colour throughout this project to portray the sense of a playful feel, I enjoyed working with more colour than usual. The shapes and collages all stemmed from my primary research taking photographs of the city which I then analysed in depth to produce drawings and collages, which reflected my research. I worked with more tactile media which I thoroughly enjoyed. I printed onto tiles and wood for my final outcomes as for my context I visualised my work as outdoor tiles in parks and gardens.
