Molly James

My practice consists of creating narrative illustrations through both digital print and embroidery. Having been inspired greatly by concept artists like Hideo Kojima I have created a short origin story about a character who is transformed into a Polluted immortal being for my final project at university. This kind of character/story creation is something I am going to continue to develop post-graduation as well as focusing on improving my technical drawing skills through studying proportion, light and shade and anatomy

My style of drawing has evolved from an interest in both cartoons and realism and I try to create Art that is aesthetically pleasing whilst containing further levels of comprehension behind it through clues in its composition and detail

In the future I will be looking for work in and around the field of illustration, animation and sculpture
