Lamentation

Imagine living in a dream. Or rather, a dream-like state. The feeling of fluffy clouds and feathered pillows absent - the only feeling you’re capable of processing is emptiness. Depersonalisation is a mental illness, affecting millions. Detaching the sufferer from reality, disconnecting them from the world. Imagine swimming; except the pool is the sky, and you’re smothered by the clouds, as they dampen your emotions - your feelings.

LAMENTATION explores the reality of nine Depersonalisation sufferers globally. The sufferers chose to either record their own voice, or have someone else say what they had written.

LAMENTATION is their story.
