Aazar Sayyah-Sina’s practice is a reflection of her fluid movement through the miracle of life. With no set plan, her practice evolves naturally through a focus on process and play.
In this moment her practice uses her body as the medium, through performance and movement. Self-portraiture and performance that emit both vulnerability and empowerment, the juxtaposing reality of the relationship with herself and her body. A relationship which has been morphed and manipulated by society's expectations.
Connecting with the elements of the earth and transposing her experience of womanhood into a visual and visceral form that shares the divinity of femininity and bridges a portal between her audience and nature's ultimate flow.
