Having lived in several countries throughout my childhood, I have been surrounded by a number of different cultures and art forms. This has led to an early interest in the arts and particularly the use of photography as a visual language.
Through my work, I explore the use of narrative within portraiture; using sets and props to depict surreal and theatrical characters. Taking inspiration from the youthfulness of stories we hear as children, I aim to bridge commercial and fine art photography to create suspenseful and surreal scenes with exaggerated characteristics.
