BA (Hons) Textiles in Practice
I am a multidisciplinary designer who specialises in woven textile design aimed primarily towards fashion and interior contexts. I explore and draw upon the natural world as inspiration, bringing a freshness to this through amplified colour and expressive mark making. Utilising trend research and forecasting is a key aspect of my practice as I aim to push my work commercially, whilst intricate hand embroidery and embellishment takes aspects into the couture realm. To further my career as a creative I am looking to gain experience in trend forecasting, visual merchandising, and mill environments.
Awarded a scholarship from The Worshipful Company of Weavers.
Nominated for The Design Context Award 2022.
