WELLNESS BY DESIGN
As a mixed media designer my practice focuses on making and curating samples using soft and hard materials, combining processes of embroidery, print, laser-cutting and 3D printed textiles. Taking inspiration from primary visual research through photography and drawings, my elements of design are driven by nature-derived textures and it’s different forms. “Wellness by design” is a body of work inspired by Biophilic and Japanese interior design intended for soft and hard furnishings in open spaces. The aim of my work is centralised around the notion of promoting wellness with a mission to elevate the quality of life and happiness indoors where we live, work, learn, heal, and play.
