BA (Hons) Textiles in Practice
My work takes on different elements of textiles, I specialise in mixed media textiles, however I do not conform to just mixed media, I like to broaden my work into different discipliner’s such as fashion, installation art and digital art etc. my project ‘Flesh’ explores the juxtaposition of bodily augmentation and the cold steel instruments that it involves, and tying that in with butchery and how both concepts go hand and hand. I bring a unique variation of textiles to Manchester School Of Art. Flesh pushes the boundaries of traditional techniques, i aim to spark peoples curiosity when viewing my work.
